I love hymns. The lyrics pierce deep and the truths are profound. And, most of the time, it gives God proper due worship. David Crowders rendition of All Creatures of Our God and King is by far the best I’ve heard so far.
Joy Ike – Give Me Truth
I have a soft spot for talented female vocalists who sing over piano. Joy Ike has hit that spot. She reminds me of a mix of Sara Bereilles and Corinne Bailey Ray. Her songs are soothing to the ears and lyrically poetic. I particularly loved her track “Give Me Truth”:
